Brussels, Belgium headquartered WABCO Holdings Inc., announced its first major deal with Mumbai-based Tata Motors for power steering systems following its September 2017 acquisition of Hanover, Pennsylvania-based R.H. Sheppard, a supplier of steering technologies for commercial vehicles.
With this deal, WABCO has engaged Tata Motors to meet their demand for heavy-duty vehicles, and will enable Tata Motors to meet the demand and supply, with the help of WABCO’s globalized integrated supply chain.
“This landmark steering technology agreement with Tata Motors in India is another example of WABCO’s powerful ability to globalize our rich technology portfolio,” said Jorge Solis, WABCO president, Truck, Bus and Car OEM Division.
