About Us
Amritt, Inc. is a management advisory service facilitating trade between the West and India.
About Amritt: Your Trusted India Advisor
Amritt was founded in 2003 by Gunjan Bagla with a clear conviction: that American and European companies were dramatically underestimating India’s potential — and equally underestimating its complexity.
Over two decades later, that belief has been vindicated a thousand times over. India is now the world’s fourth-largest economy, its fastest-growing major market, a key player in the global supply chain and the dominant destination for Global Capability Centers. The companies that entered early, with expert guidance, have reaped extraordinary rewards.
We exist to help the next generation of Western companies do the same — faster, smarter, and with far fewer costly mistakes.
For our deep and wide India expertise, Amritt has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post and its CEO has appeared on BBC Radio, Bloomberg TV, National Public Radio stations such as KCRW. Its CEO has co-authored numerous articles about business with India for the Harvard Business Review.
Caltech and UCLA have retained Amritt to run executive workshops on India Business Readiness.
- Executives from large public companies such as Axonics (now Boston Scientific), Boeing, Clorox, Covidien (now Medtronic), Flex, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft, Philips, Reckitt, Roche, RTX, have benefitted from Amritt’s India experience, expertise and guidance in execution.
- Private and family-owned companies that have trusted Amritt to evaluate or build India business include Combe, Digi-Key, Nordic Naturals, Pacific Research, Perennials, SC Johnson, The Wonderful Company.
- We have assisted startups such as Lento Bio, Novilla and Sydnexis
