Pune, Maharashtra-based biotech firm Mylab Solutions announced an exclusive strategic partnership with AstraGene LLC, UAE’s first Molecular Diagnostics Manufacturing company, for developing automated molecular diagnostics for the UAE and Kuwait markets.
Under the agreement, Mylab and AstraGene will co-develop molecular diagnostic solutions, including reagents, kits and fully-automated devices. This partnership will play an essential role in upgrading laboratory infrastructure in the UAE and Kuwait, and will support the region’s healthcare sectors and make innovative tests available to patients.
Hasmukh Rawal, managing director of Mylab said, “This partnership is a step toward expanding our presence in the fast-growing molecular diagnostics markets. Our diagnostic kits along with AstraGene’s local expertise in this space, will enable laboratories in the UAE and Kuwait to drive better outcomes and provide an enhanced diagnosis to patients.”
