France-based Assystem and India’s Axiscades Engineering Technologies Limited., announced the inauguration of a joint venture, Assystem Axiscades Engineering Private Limited based in India. The new company will undertake engineering services for the energy sector business for Indian and global utilities and contractors to meet the needs of the industry’s leading Energy, Buildings, Infrastructure, and Nuclear majors across the globe.
The JV will start its operation in Hyderabad, India, and will open two more centers in Delhi and in Mumbai. It plans to employ over 500 engineers in the next three years.
Stephane Aubarbier, chief operating officer at Assystem said, ‘We are convinced by the value addition of this partnership, which will provide to our clients both the solid knowledge of the Indian market of Axiscades, and the international experience and the historical know-how of Assystem in the energy and infrastructure sectors.”
Axiscades is a Bangalore-based product engineering and technology solutions company that caters to the aerospace, defense, heavy engineering, automotive, energy, medical, and healthcare sectors.
