Rolls-Royce plans to increase its workforce to three times its current number at its research and development center in Bangalore, India, by end of this year.
Rolls-Royce Director Benjamin Robert Story and Rolls-Royce India President Kishore Jayaraman met Federal Minister for IT Ravi Shankar Prasad to express their interest in engaging with the ‘Digital India’ initiative, reports the Times of India. The company expressed interest in investing in Indian startups working on artificial intelligence, machine learning technology and data analytics.
