New Jersey-based Johnson & Johnson launched a specialized bus to travel across 400 towns and cities and provide hands-on surgery training to 25,000 healthcare professionals in the next five years said Sushobhan Dasgupta, managing director, Johnson and Johnson Medical India.
The mobile training center named “Johnson & Johnson Institute on Wheels“, aims to enhance “the surgical skills of doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff to address the demands of today’s healthcare delivery system and provide better outcomes to patients of India,” the company said. The bus will travel to colleges of medicine and teaching hospitals across the country to train practicing and aspiring-to-be surgeons, as well as medical aides and technicians.
