Bangalore, India headquartered Strides Pharma Science Limited announced that its subsidiary East Brunswick NJ-based Strides Pharma Inc., will acquire the full stake in Yardley, PA-based Vensun Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a company that manufactures generics.
Vensun has a strategic focus on niche ANDAs with a portfolio of sixteen commercialized ANDAs, four of which are partnered with Strides and constitute a significant part of Vensun’s current revenues of $ ~17 million. Its portfolio comprises an additional thirteen filed ANDAs which includes Strides Competitive Generic Therapy a designated product with a $400 million market opportunity. Additionally, Vensun has a development pipeline with two other partners for ten products.
