India's JBM Group Acquires German Auto Parts Maker

Gurgaon, Haryana-based auto component supplier JBM Group acquired a majority stake in Germany’s Linde-Wiemann GmbH KG, a manufacturer of complex structural components and assemblies which it supplies to global automobile manufacturers.

The acquisition was done through one of the group’s flagship companies, Neel Metal Products, and it will give the company access to global platforms and German technologies. JBM will also have access to Linde-Wiemann’s strengths in domains such as electric vehicle components and systems, and battery structure and systems.

Ulrich Schoof, CEO at Linde-Wiemann said the German company will “extend its holistic system understanding” in the field of e-mobility through an exchange with JBM’s electrical bus division.
