Slovenia-based Dat-Con Defense, in partnership with Mumbai, India-based Ador Group, announced the integration of the Blighter B400 series e-scan radar into their command and control (C2) system. Dat-Con’s C2 security system is part of India’s pilot program to protect its international borders. The British designed and manufactured B400 series radar expands the Dat-Con C2 system by providing Doppler ground surveillance.
Stane Plaskan, CEO of Dat-Con Defense, said, “The Blighter B400 micro Doppler radar is best-in-class as was demonstrated when it outperformed all the other radars in an Indian Government-sponsored trial.”
The Indian Government’s Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System is a pilot program that integrates technology to detect and identify threats, with manpower to neutralize them, using a combination of radar, cameras, sensors, vibration systems, and fence protection along the international borders shared with Pakistan and Bangladesh.
