State-owned Atal Incubation Center: Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (AIC-CCMB), a premier bio-incubator in Hyderabad India, has signed an agreement with Thermo Fisher Scientific to equip its Center for Innovation,with cutting-edge technology to enable scientists in start-ups enhance their expertise and entrepreneurial acumen.
Dr. Madhusudhana Rao, CEO of AIC-CCMB, highlighted that as one of the largest facilities supporting healthcare, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology start-ups, AIC-CCMB aims to foster an ecosystem that promotes innovation. Through this agreement with Thermo Fisher Scientific, start-ups will be able to drive research initiatives and reduce time-to-market for new products.
Thermo Fisher has equipped the Center for Innovation with advanced platforms such as the CellInsight™ CX7 LZR Pro High Content Screening Platform, KingFisher™ Flex automated nucleic acid purification system, EVOS™ M7000 imaging system, laboratory freezers and refrigerators, and thermal cyclers. These tools will support scientists in research, drug discovery, and assay development across molecular biology, protein biology, cell biology, and cell analysis workflows.
