Also look at the following graph. Most striking is the rise of low-cost carrier Indigo Air (India’s answer to Southwest Airlines). The rise of Kingfisher does not show the recent trouble that this airline has suffered, perhaps because of a lag in the numbers. Air India/Indian Airlines has also had troubles in recent months.
