India Has Highest Number of Female Entrepreneurs

According to the international bank BNP Paribas2015 Global Entrepreneurialism Report, India ranked first worldwide in the male: female ratio of entrepreneurs. The global ratio is 63%: 37% whereas in India it is currently, 51%: 49%.

Thanks to government support and increasing opportunities for business, women entrepreneurs in India have set up businesses in sectors such as retail, finance, real estate, technology, fashion, and social networking, breaking the myth that women are only good at designing, fashion and handicrafts.
