Dell Technologies has partnered with Noida India-based Vehant Technologies, Santa Clara CA-based Graymatics, and Barcelona, Spain headquartered Wordsensing to deliver smart city solutions in the areas of ‘Safe City’ and ‘Intelligent Traffic Management’ in India.
Vehant, a manufacturer of Under Vehicle Scanning Systems provides solutions in security, surveillance, and monitoring. Graymatics is a cognitive media processing company known for its digital video analysis and image-recognition technology and Wordsensing, an IoT pioneer, provides tools to make the right operational decisions based on real-time intelligence.
Amit Midha, president, Asia Pacific & Japan, EVP, Global Digital Cities at Dell Technologies noted that “in India too [as in other global smart cities] the two major components of smart cities — Safe City & Intelligent Traffic Management — were being incorporated, along with a video wall and an operations center to manage safety and traffic.”
