The device incorporates two key technological advancements – BD RightGauge™ technology and BD PentaPoint™ Technology.
The BD RightGauge™ technology enables the use of a thinner needle for blood collection compared to standard needles. This thinner needle causes less trauma and pain upon insertion into the patient’s vein. Additionally, the BD PentaPoint™ Technology refers to a unique needle tip geometry that further reduces penetration pain.
