Farmington, CT-based United Technologies that provides technology products and services to the building and aerospace industries, set up a video analytics lab at the T-Hub, in Hyderabad, India.
India’s largest startup incubator, T-Hub, is a private-state owned partnership between the government of Telangana, three of India’s premier academic institutes, and key private sector leaders. It is a platform for entrepreneurs, mentors, investors and academia to interact and collaborate.

“The launch of the lab will help us leverage innovative solutions for the benefit of our customers,” John Galbraith, vice-president (Global Engineering: Climate, Controls and Security) of UTC, said. Galbraith added that besides helping start-ups in the video analytics space to develop products and services, the company may even integrate those products and services with UTC’s products. The start-ups might also be offered go-to-market help from the U.S. firm, reports Business Line.
