Ontario, Canada-based Tim Hortons launched two new branches in Delhi NCR on August 11. In India, Tim Hortons’ joint venture entity is controlled by Apparel Group and Gateway Partners.
This iconic Canadian chain of restaurants known all over the world for its signature coffee, food, and beverages, customized its menu for the Indian palate. This has become typical of most Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) entering India – including McDonald’s, KFC, Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin Donuts.
Chole Kulcha Flatbread, Chicken Makhani Ravioli Pasta, and Paneer Tikka Wraps, Chilli Cheese Toast, Chicken Tikka Croissant Sandwich, and Lamb Kebab Wraps are some of the specials for India.
The original classics Double Double, French Vanilla Latte, Vanilla Iced Capp, the Chocolate Dip Donut, Maple Dip Donut and the Boston Cream also feature on the menu.
Currently, Tim Hortons has more than 5,300 restaurants across 13 countries, including the Middle East, Thailand, China, Mexico, the U.K., Spain, and the Philippines.
