Taiwan’s AMB and India’s RRP Electronics Partner on Memory Module Innovation

Mumbai headquartered RRP Electronics Limited and AMB, Taiwan, signed an agreement  to:
– Develop and manufacture memory modules (SPI NAND, MICROSD, EMMC, SSD)
– Share technology including substrate designs and test programs
– Generate projected revenue of $25M annually

Manufacturing details:
– Primary facility: 40,000 sq ft OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test building) facility at Mahape on the outskirts of Mumbai, established last September
– Planned expansion: New factory at MIDC, Taloja (expected within 2 years)

Strategic benefits:
– Enables advanced machinery setup at OSAT facility
– Positions RRP as global semiconductor innovator
– Allows them to serve major clients such as Samsung

Rajendra Chodankar, chairman, RRP Electronics said through this association, the company will deploy modern technology at its OSAT facility to serve their clients
