The $60 million plant is the company’s largest investment in India, and it will complement the company’s existing plant in Daman, Gujarat, strengthening its capabilities in liquids compounding, powder blending, emulsions, process flavors and spray drying for India, Nepal and Bangladesh.
“After acquiring nine companies in the last four years, we are looking to expand our base in India,” said CEO Gilles Andrier. He added that the company was focusing on health and wellness products where consumers don’t want to sacrifice taste for healthy products.
