Seattle WA-based Starbucks, in a joint venture between subsidiary Starbucks Coffee and Tata Global Beverages, India, is planning to add up to ten new stores this year taking the total count to 145 cafes.
“We currently have 136 stores and we will open another five to ten stores by the end of the fiscal year . We look at activating more stores in the next few years, [from] what we have seen in the past,” L. Krishnakumar, CFO, Tata Global Beverages Group said.
Tata-Starbucks has recently started food delivery through online food aggregator apps such as Swiggy.
