Oxxy Healthcare’s ‘ByGod Hospitals’ has aggregated over 20 hospitals in the Delhi National Capital Region and now plans to expand into Mumbai and Bangalore. The multi-specialty hospitals linked by the network have 50-500 beds. According to c0-founder and CEO Sheetal Kapoor, patients can make an appointment online and can access records from anywhere in the country. Patients and their families can also expect a personal guide and transparency in pricing of medical procedures. “Our mission is to build the largest transparent hospital chain which is affordable. We aim in providing an accessible and convenient process flow for all the patients to book appointments and financially plan their tests/ treatment or surgery in advance,” she added.
Pankaj Gupta, chairman and founder of Oxxy Healthcare network said, “The vision is to become India’s largest hospital chain by end of this year.” Valued over $3.6 billion, Oxxy Healthcare touches more than 12,000 Indian families every day.
The company functions similar to health insurance plans. But unlike health insurance it comes with no riders and is available irrespective of age or preexisting health conditions. It comes with no capping on the treatment cost.
