At $18 million, net profit of Monsanto India rose 66% in the quarter ended March 2018 as against $5 million during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales rose 9.44% for the same quarter as did total income, which increased to $24 million from $21 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.
