Spartanburg, South Carolina – headquartered Milliken & Company has inaugurated an advanced pilot plant in Pune, Maharashtra, strengthening its global polymer solutions business. The facility supports end-to-end processing across powders, doughs, pasts, and liquids, enabling real-world manufacturing simulations that accelerate innovation from concept to commercialization.

Equipped with flexible pilot-scale machinery for mixing, extrusion, granulation, drying, and milling, the site allows teams to validate processes under diverse conditions with efficiency and safety. Specialized equipment supports extrusion, particle size reduction, granulation, and temperature-controlled blending, broadening application possibilities and ensuring scalable, high-quality solutions.
