Many American Business School graduate, especially MBA’s are starting to think about careers and international job opportunities in India or with Indian companies in the USA. The Booth school at the University of Chicago asked me to speak on this subject during a vibrant panel discussion at their India Leadership Summit last week.
International recruitment between India and the United States is now a two-way street. In the past American companies, especially Wall Street firms, would hire away top graduates from the Indian Institutes of Management and the Indian Institutes of Technology. Today Indian companies are hiring technical graduates of MIT, Caltech and Stanford. Indian companies are also running international recruitment at top business schools for MBAs to work on overseas contracts and jobs.
