Indian consumer ingredients supplier, OmniActive Health Technologies, is known for its proprietary Luteimax 2020 lutein derived from marigold flowers grown in India. It also supplies extracts from chili peppers for the weight loss market, curcumin extracts for sports nutrition and others headed for American supplement makers. It recently hired Jim Hamilton to work out of their Morristown, New Jersey office as the global CEO.
Hamilton has spent over 35 years in the nutrition products industry serving in a variety of executive positions. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of Neptune Wellness Solutions (NASDAQ – TSX: NEPT), where, during his five-year tenure, he planned and delivered a significant turnaround of the business through acquisitions and timely divestures. Prior to this he was a member of DSM Nutritional Products Human Nutrition business global management team with responsibility for the North American region.
