Royal Enfield, the iconic motorcycle manufacturer, continues to cement its legacy in the Indian motorcycling scene. The brand’s Bullet is synonymous with classic motorcycles in India, and enjoys a devoted following. In March 2024, Royal Enfield sold over 66,000 units in India, marking a 10% year-over-year growth compared to March 2023’s 59,884 units.
For the fiscal year 2024, Royal Enfield’s sales in the country reached 834,795 units, a 14% increase over the previous fiscal year’s 734,840 units. Popular models such as the Classic 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Meteor 350 fueled this success.
On the exports front, Royal Enfield shipped over 9,500 units in March 2024, an 18.65% M-o-M rise from February’s 8,000 units.
Recently, the company launched the 650 Twins — Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 — the Shotgun 650 in North America, and the Bullet 350 in Japan, expanding its global footprint.

In total for March 2024, Royal Enfield sold over 75,000 units globally, a 5% Y-o-Y increase from March 2023’s 72,235 units, though a marginal 0.5% M-o-M dip from February 2024. Fiscal 2023-24 saw Royal Enfield sell 912,732 units, surpassing the previous year’s 834,895 units.
Royal Enfield’s CEO B Govindarajan expressed confidence in sustaining growth momentum in 2025, citing the brand’s “spectacular performance” and new product lineup.
