Executive Chairperson of Bangalore-based global biopharmaceutical company Biocon Ltd, Kiran Mazundar-Shaw, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center New York. MSK has one of the most dynamic cancer research programs, globally, operating over 120 laboratories and work toward understanding each and every type of disease better.
Mazumdar-Shaw is the first woman of Indian nationality to be appointed for this role. She is among the 52 members on the board and will serve for a term of three years w.e.f. April 14, 2021.
