India, a fast growing country, is the world’s second most populated country with over 1.2 billion people. This article shows a map of India’s states with the names of countries with a similar population count to the state. Surprisingly, many of the world’s largest countries’ populations are similar to one state in India. Brazil, for example, is the fifth most populated country in the world and it is equal to Uttar Pradesh. (Note the map of India as shown, does not conform to the borders as defined by the Indian government).
