A ruling by the Competition Commission of India sheds light on the robot-assisted surgery joint venture between Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon unit and Google. Although the companies have not revealed many details about the project, the India ruling mentions the name of the new company: Warren Robotics. The partners intend to develop “an innovative robotic-assisted surgical platform capable of integrating advanced technologies with the goal of improving healthcare delivery in the operating room.”
