India Cuts Visa Fees To Encourage Tourism

The Government of India has decided to reduce the e-Tourist Visa fees for foreign nationals including US nationals

•  The fee for one-year e-Tourist Visa has been reduced from $80 to $40;
•  A 30-day e-Tourist Visa has been introduced with a fee of $25, which will be applicable during the period July to March;  During the April to June period, the fee for a 30-day e-Tourist Visa has been further reduced from $25 to $10;
• The fee for a Five-year e-Tourist Visa is still  $80.
