Chinese telecom gear maker, Huawei, inaugurated its largest global service center in Bangalore, India. The new center will support digital transformation and help meet market demand for synergies between services and technology, as well as improve operations capabilities.
Located within Huawei’s Research and Development campus in Bangalore, the center currently employs over 1,000 engineers, network operations specialists and support staff, and handles more than 50 projects, supporting over 30 countries in Asia, the Middle East and Africa, serving over 350 million subscribers, reports Indian Express.

On the occasion, Jay Chen, CEO of Huawei India said, “The inauguration of this, our largest global service center, further reaffirms our commitment to India.”
William Zhao, CEO of the Huawei India R&D Center said, “We at Huawei believe in the potential of the talent present here in Bangalore and the positive momentum created by the Government in India.”
