With a presence in India since 1930, New Jersey-based Honeywell has plans to open a $200-million facility in Bangalore later this year, to bring together its 8,000 employees in the city. The firm’s 15,000 employees in India contribute over $1 billion to the company’s global revenues of $40 billion.
When BusinessLine asked Vikas Chadha, President, Honeywell India, whether part of the $100-million Honeywell global investment fund will be allocated to India, he said it was about encouraging future technologies. “If some projects come from India, we are open,” he mentioned.
