PCA Motors India, subsidiary of Groupe PSA the French multinational manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles sold under the Peugeot, Citroen, DS, Opel and Vauxhall brands, launched an India Technical Center in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The Center will house the departments of Research and Development, Programs and Projects, a Global Purchasing Hub, Supply Chain, Process, and Manufacturing Engineering departments. Going forward, it will also house a workshop for styling, architecture, and assembly of prototypes.
Commenting on the launch, Emmanuel Delay, executive vice president and head of India-Pacific, Groupe PSA, said, “With the new center, we’re focusing our investment in creating a cohesive work environment to accelerate our growth. Our investment further emphasizes the importance of India to our global business.”
