Boeing announced the addition of a new production line at its Indian joint venture, Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited in Hyderabad, to manufacture the vertical fin structures for the 737 family of commercial airplanes, according to reports in Aviation Week and BusinessLine. Formed in partnership with Tata Advanced Systems Limited, Boeing’s Indian unit has been producing aero-structures for the AH-64 Apache helicopters purchased by the Indian Air Force.
