Bangalore, India-based Mphasis Limited, an IT company that is majority-owned by private equity firm Blackstone, has acquired Reston VA-based automation company Stelligent Systems LLC in an all-cash deal worth $25 million.
“Our engineers will greatly benefit from being part of a larger, complementary tech-centric community; as well as serve enterprises in end-to-end Amazon Web Services DevOps, DevSecOps and additional cloud services,” Bill Santos, CEO, Stelligent said.
Nitin Rakesh, CEO and executive director, Mphasis noted that as more and more enterprises move to the public cloud, there will not only be a need for customization for customers, but also a need for rapid product development.
This is Mphasis’ fifth acquisition and its first under Blackstone’s ownership. So far, it has largely acquired U.S.-based companies.
