The Bay Area Council, of San Francisco will work with India’s Institute of Civil Engineers and Architects (ICEA) to establish India as a global manufacturing hub in the medical electronics sector and other electronics verticals.
“ICEA is committed to replicate success stories in the entire electronics sector starting with medical electronics and other verticals such as consumer electronics, IoT, emerging technologies etc.,” said Pankaj Mohindroo, chairman, ICEA.
“ICEA and Bay Area Council will continue to engage with relevant stakeholders to take this vision forward. Efforts toward the establishment of a mega electronics fund to support manufacturing activity is also very much on the cards and we are scheduled to interact with key U.S.A.- based venture capitalists and the investment community to take this forward,” added Mohindroo.
