Amazon to Set Up 100 Offline Kiosks in India

Amazon will expand its footprint of offline kiosks in India, and launch over 100 small-format stores — 70 to 80 square feet in size — that will be located inside malls, by the end of 2019.

An Amazon spokesperson said that these Amazon Kiosks (also known as Pop-Up stores)  will give customers a first-hand experience with its devices such as the Kindle e-book reader, the Echo speaker and the Fire TV dongle. Additionally, the store staff will respond to customer queries before and after purchases.
