Richmond VA-based medical device company ALR Technologies (ALRT) will collaborate with Mumbai, India-based Aspire Cerebro, a healthcare communication company, to market ALRT’s comprehensive diabetes management systems to India’s estimated 100 million diabetes patients.
Aspire Cerebro Advertising Limited, with offices in Calgary, Canada, will work with its counterpart in India to create a comprehensive marketing plan for the ALRT Diabetes Solution.
The ALRT system combines data from blood glucose meters with an FDA-approved insulin dosing adjustment feature that suggests insulin dosing changes. It also provides remote monitoring and care facilitation for patients with diabetes by uploading data from blood glucose meters on to a secure website where health care providers can monitor and coordinate the care of diabetes patients. The system includes performance-tracking features to monitor treatment success in between visits to the doctor.
“Our model enables pharmaceutical companies to provide the ALRT Diabetes Solution to health clinics and simplify delivery of best-practice diabetes care,” said Sidney Chan, chairman and CEO of ALR Technologies Inc.
