I shall moderate the Aerospace and Defense Panel at the World Hindu Economic Forum‘s (WHEF) global event in Los Angeles on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Hotel Irvine in Irvine, California.
Speaking with me are Dr. Vivek Lall of General Atomics; Vivek led Boeing’s India defense business earlier. Also on the panel are Mukesh Desai of Able Aero, a key supplier to Boeing, and Kedar Tilak of Almex USA which specializes in metal alloys for aerospace.

Modeled on the World Economic Forum held annually in Davos, Switzerland, the Islamic community created a World Islamic Economic Forum back in 2005. While a number of organizations espouse the cause of Jewish prosperity, there is also a World Jewish Economic Forum.
So it is logical that there should be a forum for the dominant religion of India, Hinduism. Indeed, in addition to 900 million Hindus in India, there are about 20 million practitioners of Hinduism in countries as far apart as Mauritius, Jamaica, Belize, Singapore, Nepal, the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
An engineering graduate of IIT Kharagpur, Swami Vigyananand, is the inspiration for the World Hindu Economic Forum, which has organized similar events in London in 2015, New Delhi in 2014, Bangkok in 2013. WHEF’s vision is to make society prosperous, and its mission is to create and share surplus wealth.
