European giant ABB has opened a wind power generator factory at Vadodara in the Indian state of Gujarat.
The new factory will produce up to 100 units of the power generators per month with a rating of up to 2.5 megawats. ABB discrete automation and motion business head Ulrich Spiesshofer said that the wind power generators will serve the growing need for components in the wind power industry globally.
