India Introduces e-Arrival Card for International Visitors

According to India’s Bureau of Immigration, from October 1, 2025 the paper disembarkation form will disappear, and travelers to India are required, instead, to complete a digital e-Arrival Card.

 Who Needs It?

Foreign nationals entering India:

  • Includes e-Visa, sticker visa holders, tourists, business travelers, students, those with medical, AYUSH needs, employment, research, people attending conferences
  •  Exempt: Indian citizens & OCI cardholders

 What You’ll Need to Input

  •  Valid passport
  •  Flight details
  •  Local address in India (Can be a hotel or AirBnB)
  •  Active email & phone number
    No document uploads required

  • Full Name
  • Nationality
  • Passport Number
  • Date of Arrival
  • Purpose of Visit
  • Countries Visited (last 6 days)
  • Email & Contact Number
  • Emergency Contact Info

 How to Complete It

2️⃣Fill in personal, travel, and contact details
3️⃣Submit up to 5 days before arrival
4️⃣Save the digital confirmation and Card
5️⃣Present both at immigration if requested
