The Annual Disruptive Innovation Conference was organized by the Pan IIT Alumni Association of Southern California and featured two panel discussions in addition to Amritraj’s keynote address.
Kicking off the conference was a morning panel discussion on medical technology, which was moderated by Amritt, Inc., CEO Gunjan Bagla and featured four panelists: Ray Cohen, a life sciences executive; ImmunGene founder Sanjay Khare; s2a Molecular co-founder Aditya Rajagopal; and Covidien global marketing director Sanjay Shirvastava.
Key issues discussed during the morning panel included financing and value-creation for medical technology companies, the innovations and applications of medical technology, and how the design of endovascular devices are used to improve human health.
