opened a new Global Capability Center in Bangalore, India. The $16 million strategic investment aims to accelerate technology adoption, innovation, digital transformation, and business efficiencies.
The 300+ person facility replaces formerly outsourced services and transforms into an in-housed global hub designed to attract talent, speed, technology implementation, and drive technological innovation.
Waters selected Bangalore for its depth of talent, friendly business climate, and proximity to customers. The India team will serve as an integrated extension of Waters’ global workforce, operating as a center of excellence across software engineering, technology, and product development.
Waters entered the India market in 1988 and has since grown to over 430 employees across nine sites, serving over 2,300 laboratories. Waters technologies and services ensure the safety and quality of medicines, vaccines, food, water, and consumer products used daily by millions worldwide.
India remains one of Waters’ fastest growing markets. This Center represents an important milestone for Waters’ growing India presence, and will support customers both in India and globally.
