Air India Adds More Services on Three U.S. Routes

Air India, part of India’s Mumbai-based Tata Group conglomerate, has 50 weekly India-U.S. departing flights this coming from this winter, up from 33 in winter 2019 and 39 last winter.

Its 50 weekly services to the U.S. are broken down as follows:

  • Delhi-San Francisco: now 11 weekly
  • Delhi-Chicago: daily
  • Delhi-New York JFK: daily
  • Mumbai-New York JFK: daily
  • Delhi-Newark: now four weekly
  • Delhi-Washington Dulles: now four weekly
  • Mumbai-San Francisco: four weekly
  • Bangalore-San Francisco: three weekly
  • Mumbai-Newark: three weekly

This schedule will take effect around November 21st, ahead of the peak season.

Across the carrier’s long-haul network, only two other routes exceed the 11 weekly offered to San Francisco: Delhi-London Heathrow at 17 weekly and Mumbai-Heathrow at double daily.
