Chennai, India-headquartered TVS Motor announced that it had sold over 1 million two-wheelers in overseas markets last year. This is the first time ever that the TVS Motor Company and PT TVS, Indonesia, achieved this 7-figure sales mark in a financial year.
The company’s key exports include the TVS’ Apache, HLX, Raider and Neo two-wheelers. Motorcycle sales increased significantly in 2022, helping it achieve the milestone.
The company has a presence across 80 countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, the Indian Sub-Continent and Central and Latin America. It is now looking to enter more markets in Europe and North America.
Sudarshan Venu, the joint managing director of TVS Motor said, “The one million export mark is a significant milestone for us. This further underscores our path toward being a global player in personal mobility solutions.”
