The United States Remains India's Top Trading Partner

The United States remained India’s top trading partner for the second consecutive fiscal year, which shows increasing economic ties between the two countries according to a report in the Business Standard.

India’s commerce ministry of India shared numbers showing the bilateral trade in goods between the U.S. and India for the fiscal year that ended on March 31, 2020 stood at $88.75 billion compared with $87.96 billion a year ago. Trade dipped slightly in the last few weeks of the fiscal year due to the pandemic, else the number would have exceed $90 billion. There is also a vibrant bilateral services trade between the two countries.
