Headquartered in Exton, Pennsylvania, West Pharmaceutical Services inaugurated its new Digital Technology Center in Bangalore. This Center will serve as a global center of excellence for the company’s Digital and Transformation team, and will work with West’s teams in Exton, and in Eschweiler, Germany, to develop digital solutions in marketing and manufacturing, cloud-based business suite products, and new solutions using smart devices, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things.
Silji Abraham, Chief Digital and Transformation Officer, West, said, “This Digital Technology Center will allow our team to create compelling digital experiences for our global customer base across hemispheres, source talent from India’s fast-growing technology industry and bring forward the latest digital advancements to create insights and value for our customers and team members—ultimately delivering better business results.”
West has had a presence in India since 2004 with a commercial office in Hyderabad and a manufacturing plant in Sri City, established in 2014.
