Indians have a high incidence of heart disease and many patients need to take diuretics to reduce blood pressure. Some of these patients suffer from ‘fluid overload’ and need help. The Aquadex FlexFlow system will shortly be available in India following a recent distribution agreement between CHF Solutions Inc., of Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Wayinia Lifesciences located near Ambala in north India. The deal also paves the way for CHF to expand into other Asian markets.

Currently, there are close to three million reports of heart failure in India, with an additional one million new incidents being reported annually.
