Niwot, CO-based Crocs launched its 109th store in the state of West Bengal in India. The company is becoming India’s top non-athletic casual footwear brand, and India is currently the 6th biggest market for Crocs globally with a double-digit growth year-on-year.
Deepak Chhabra, CEO and managing director, Crocs India, said that in addition to launching exclusive brand stores, Crocs will strengthen its presence in tier-2 cities via multi brand retail stores and kiosks. “E-commerce will remain an integral part of our distribution strategy and help us reach out to consumers where our brick and mortar presence is limited,” he added.
