American singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer Nick Jonas confirmed that he’s officially engaged to Quantico star Priyanka Chopra.
Jonas arrived in Mumbai, India with his parents for a traditional engagement ceremony in Priyanka’s home country, India. Mother-in-law Madhu Chopra said that Nick enthusiastically participated in the rituals, chanting the mantras perfectly. “Nick enjoyed the prayers during the puja (ceremony)… It was a new thing for him and he took it seriously. He followed what our panditji (priest) said, and chanted the Sanskrit mantras accurately. Both he and his parents did it beautifully. They are nice people.” Madhu Chopra also added, “I definitely want a traditional Indian wedding.”
