NRI Global Summit draws 250 to California
SUNNYVALE Calif. — Industry leaders from across the globe came together in late October to honor notable Indian achievers and discuss political and commercials trends affecting India and the U.S. at the NRI Global Summit 2009.
Over 250 entrepreneurs and venture capitalists packed the India Community Center in Milpitas.
The summit began with a keynote by Vinod K. Dham famous as the father of the Pentium and founder and executive managing director of NEA-IndoUS Ventures. The Summit was hosted by Raj Mathai Emmy award-winning NBC Anchor and speakers included: Gunjan Bagla managing director of Amritt Ventures Harjiv Singh co-founder and co-CEO of Gutenberg Communications Jagmohan Singh national secretary general of the NRI Institute Sandip Roy editor-host of New America Media Abrar A. Hussain senior counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld LLP Ash Kalra San Jose councilmember Atul Vashistha author of Offshore Nation and Rafiq Dossani executive director of Stanford University’s South Asia Initiative
